Free childcare at #WCEU

WordCamp Europe is committed to being affordable and to creating an inclusive environment and experience for everyone.

All kids younger than 16 years old do not need a separate ticket if accompanied by an adult – unless he/she wants a printed badge and swag of his/her own.

As we did in Vienna, Paris and Belgrade for WCEU 2016-2018, we are offering childcare services again at WCEU 2019 on 21-22 June.

Services

We are in cooperation with two services:

  • For children younger than 3 years: A nanny service from Kidsbetreuung to provide babysitting, board games, interactive play, art and activities. This also includes diaper service, if permitted by parents.
  • For children 3-14 years: A professional and international staff from Kindertreff Jopala to entertain your children with a variety of games, plus creative lessons and sporty activities that allow them the freedom to explore, develop and learn, both individually and in groups.

Trained educators who speak fluent English and native German and will be onsite both days of the conference venue in a child-friendly space.

We promise that your kids will be safe and looked after with care, and have a bit of nap time, combining fun and rest so you can relax and enjoy the conference.
